About the club/Seddie:

Seddie (Sehd-ee)- the  portmanteau-style couple name of the pairing of Samantha Puckett and Fredward Benson off of Nickelodeon's T.V. show, iCarly.

Before this club was founded,  I figured Deviant Art needed a group to represent the awesome shipping of SEDDIE! AND HERE IT ISSSSSSSS.

FACTOID-The alternate name for "Seddie" is "Fram". The reason I chose to name this club the Seddie Club and not the Fram Club, is because I think "Fram" sounds way too much like ham...AAAAND, in the beginning times of iCarly, "Seddie" became more widely known than "Fram".

SEDDIE WEEK 2013

I know this is in JANUARY, but that is a little over a month away! Might as well reignite the flame that MIGHT have momentarily died during iGoodbye. This is ALSO a reminder that Seddie is FAR from dead. It is alive and buzzing!

This week is to commemorate the week iKiss premiered; the episode with the first big turn of Seddie that may have ignited a lot of the Seddie fandom. That means the event starts January 3 (premiere of iKiss) and goes on for a week. It's on a Thursday, and is a great way to start the year.

Each day, there will be a theme. Following the theme, you will create a piece of art (whether it be drawing, writing, collages, manips,  etc.). This is NO CONTEST, but for pure fun and support of Seddie.

Anyone got ideas for themes? I like our members to contribute too! Message me what you think!
Get those creative juices a flowin'! And make sure you stick to the Seddie Club rules!

Don't Say Goodbye.

Hello. I'm sure you're all telling yourselves, "Wow, she hasn't updated this club for 10 months and she chooses to AFTER THE SERIES ENDS. Well, yes. I have. Aaaaaaand, with the most apologies a random girl on the Internet can give, I'm sorry. BUT, one good thing out of this is that I HAVEN'T FORGOT! This club has been one of the coolest things I've made, so I don't really plan on abandoning it.

ANYWAY, I am here to discuss the end.
THE end.
The end. Of our lovely iCarly. First, as an iCarly fan, and then as a Mighty Seddie Warrior.

As an iCarly fan, it was...perfect. My salty tears of mascara sort of displayed that. Carly saw her dad, the last webshow was shot, and Carly & Sam thanked the fans for everything. Those moments, on top of the bunches of referencing/sentimental/nostalgic/yank-your-heartstrings out moments, really added to the perfection of this episode. I loved it. Smiles and frowns will happen, but so many good memories came out of it!

The decision for Carly to go Italy was a little rushed, but I guess it had to be. Made for a good conclusion and she will be happy that way. I WOULD point out the abruptness didn't even address issues like college. I thought THAT would be important. But, eh, not to Dan. Haha.

As a Seddier, I am sure you ALL know what scenes I will talk about.
The "Creddie" scene is actually what I will talk about first.
If you have watched iCarly since the beginning, you know Freddie started off with a huge crush on Carly. He basically saw her as the image of a perfect girl. The love they could have possibly shared, ended up to be supposedly crushed in iSaved Your Life, where she fell in love with his sacrificial bravery rather than HIM. In this iGoodbye scene, Carly kisses Freddie. When looked at quickly, one can assume, Creddie is endgame. Creddie won. Creddie got the kiss. But that's wrong. What we saw was Carly, giving that little boy, Freddie, the goodbye he always dreamed of. It was the final parting of these two people that could never be anything more (obviously shown by them shrugging it off as soon as the kiss was over).
Creddie didn't "win." It was closed. Officially. No loose ends on that ship.

The other scene is obviously the phone call. And, really, we only pay attention to one sentence Mr. Fredward says. "...you wanna get back together...?" is the FIRST THING Freddie thinks when Sam says she has something important to talk about. You can tell what's on HIS mind! Even though it was only a couple seconds long, this part, and the reaction Freddie had right after, is CRUCIAL for the future of this ship. He awkwardly switches on to the next subject, as if he's embarrassed to have mentioned "them" at all.
His words, his cute reaction, and Sam's response, "...do you?" all lean on the fact: Seddie can still happen. She is on his mind. Freddie OBVIOUSLY on Sam's mind, as hints of jealousy have shown up in recent episodes. Even though we might not get a lot of it, this new show, Sam & Cat, has the possibility of continuing this ship. It can carry it along and develop it, in a minor way, and get the closure we deserve.  In Dan's Fun Facts, he referred to that scene as "Interesting. " THOSE WINKY FACES MEAN SOMETHING WILL HAPPEN, FOLKES.

I just know it.
So, I am here to tell all Seddiers, far and wide:
DON'T BE SAD! Seddie didn't "lose." It's just not over. Because this couple is THAT good, it's WORTHY of continuation. It's one of Dan's prides, his OTP of GOLD. Look forward to more Seddie. I know I am.

Another thing?
Don't let Seddie, Creddie, or ANY relationship get in the way of iCARLY. Without iCarly, there would BE NO RELATIONSHIP. Some people HATE Dan, or HATE iCarly just because they didn't get the Seddie or whatever that they wanted. THAT'S NOT RIGHT. DON'T DO THAT! DON'T watch it for the relationships! You WON'T be satisfied. The show is about a webshow that brings people together. Don't ruin this story just because you didn't get your way. It's hard to believe you liked it in the first place when hate is in the picture! Be positive! Watch it for the funny, watch it for the WHOLE, watch it for EVERYTHING! That way, it will end perfectly.

And that's it. Check my advice out, and hopefully it will help when a nice fandom comes rolling along again.

THINGS TO KNOW FOR THE SEDDIE CLUB ARE:

1: Please no bashing or meanness of any kind to the other iCarly shippers....that causes conflict and conflict just needs to be pungulated.

2: If you would like to join the club, just click the button the top of the club's homepage that says, "Join Our Group". You SHOULD be immediately approved (since ANY Seddie lover is welcomed!). Remember to spread the word of the Seddie Club by either watching, or putting our icon on your journals/profile (it is NOT required of you to do either one of these things). The more Mighty Seddie Warriors, the BETTER!!!!!

To join, the only requirements are to like, if not, LOVE Seddie (the romantic relationship between Samantha Puckett and Freddie Benson).

3: If you want to have your Seddie work in the Seddie Club Gallery, just become a member and submit an art piece to the appropriate folder or note me and I will add it.

Submitting a piece into the "Featured" folder is fine, but remember to also add it to the appropriate folder it belongs in as well.

It will immediatly be moved into the drawings folder if it's a comic or a pic with a lot of small text.

4: The Seddie Club from time to time goes out onto Deviant Art and looks for Seddie pics/work to put in their gallery. If you have a Seddie work, don't be surprised if we suggest it to be in our group. All you have to do is approve. And RAMPU! Your work is in our gallery. If it's not in the gallery, it's most likely in our favorites. But you can submit it into the Gallery if you want to. I tend to get lazy and only submit visual art pieces, not literature (only because I am lazy to read), but that is what YOUR job is. To submit stuff FOR ME! SHAM POW!!!!!
